Spaghetti Western Locations ~ Adios Sabata

We continue to our search for filming locations for the 1970 film “Adios, Sabata”. After Sabata’s encounter with the three Austrian agents the scene shifts back to Colonel Skimmel’s shooting of more Mexican Revolutionaries as they are let loose one at a time and run down the street. The Colonel shoots them from the balcony of his headquarters with a rifle. The traitor Moreno who told on these poor peons is escorted to Skimmel’s quarters where he is told to open the drawer under the model ship on the table and retrieve the 20 pieces of gold for his reward. When he opens the drawer he spots strings attached to the cannons on the ship which open fire and kill him.

This scene was filmed on a set at Elios Studio outside of Rome.
