Rememberng Helmut Harun


Helmut Harun was born Helmut Habrich on March 18, 1914 in Westhoven, Rhineland, Germany. Harun was a German dubbing director, author and screenwriter. As a dialogue director he worked on "Pippi Longstocking", "Pippi Goes on Board" and "Pippi in Taka-Tuka-Land". As far as Euro-westerns are concerned he  co-wrote the screenplays for three films: “The Man from Oklahoma” (1964), “The Man Called Gringo” (1965) and “Clint the Stranger” (1967).
 
Harun died in Duppach, Eifel, Germany on July 7, 1981.
 
Today we remember Helmut Harun on what would have been his 100th birthday.
